Newport-Mesa NJB has announced the 3rd grade All-Star team for the 2013 season.
Players are Will Purcell, Van Sidebotham, Luke O’Neil, Sanjay Tewari, Ryder Brooks, Jordan Stucki, Jack Bolt, Jason Plumb, Trent Liolios and Calder Overfelt.
The team’s coaches are Brent Overlfelt and Scott Liolios.

BCYC Member Places First in Lido Isle Event

Corona del Mar and Harbor View Elementary School student Joshua Means of the Bahia Corinthian Yacht Club placed first for C1 sabots at the Lido Isle Midwinter Regatta on Jan. 20.
Dillon Graveline, also from BCYC, placed 3rd in the C1 sabots.

Harbor Day School beat Porterville (located between Bakersfield and Fresno) 19-7 in the consolation championship.
