Two-Alarm Fire at Fashion Island High Rise; No Injuries Reported
A fire that apparently started in an air conditioning unit caused $3,000 in damage at a high-rise building at 610 Newport Center Drive this morning, according to a Newport Beach Fire Department statement.
Firefighters responded to an alarm at 8:02 a.m. today at the building near Fashion Island, according to the statement.
