From the Police Log: Theft Arrest, Attempted Car Burglary

An Irvine man was arrested Tuesday afternoon on suspicion of grand theft, a police report states.
The arrest occurred at 3:40 p.m at 601 Newport Center Drive. The 49-year-old man’s bail was set at $20,000.
In other police news, a Corona del Mar woman reported that someone broke the front passenger window of her Hyundai in the 200 block of Marguerite Avenue, causing $285 in damage. A police report describe the incident as an attempted car burglary, which occurred between 11 p.m. March 10 and 7 a.m. March 11.
