Police arrested a man late Wednesday afternoon in the 3400 block of East Coast Highway on suspicion of DUI, police said today. Witnesses said the driver clipped another car before the arrest, but police were not immediately able to confirm details.
In other police news, officers arrested a 23-year-old Anaheim man at 1:10 a.m. today on suspicion of DUI; the arrest was at East Coast Highway and Irvine Terrace. The man’s bail was set at $2,500.
Also, a 58-year-old Santa Ana woman reported that someone entered her unlocked vehicle in the 300 block of San Miguel Drive, taking $290 worth of property. The theft occurred sometime between 11:15 a.m. and 12:45 p.m. March 3 and was reported two days later. The press report was not available until this week.
Police also took a report that a vandal spray painted graffiti on all four sides of a restroom building at Irvine Terrace Park. The incident occurred sometime between 5 p.m. Monday and 10:30 a.m. Wednesday. No damage estimate was available.
