Applications are being accepted for the Bruce Crockard scholarship, which gives cash awards to students who graduated from Lincoln Elementary School.

Named after Lincoln’s first principal, the Bruce Crockard Honorary Scholarship Program was established in 1999 and is open to Corona del Mar High School graduating seniors.

Applications are due by Friday April 30 and should be submitted to Lincoln Elementary at 3151 Pacific View Drive. The application asks for references, GPA, extra curricular activities, honors, a description of academic, career and life goals, and an essay about how Lincoln’s education helped you succeed in high school.

For more information, contact Allison Lent, the CdMHS scholarship counselor.

Last year, the winners were Scott Gordinier and Alexander May, who both won $500.
