Newport Beach police reported an incident of road rage just after 6 p.m. Monday in the 200 block of Poinsettia Avenue, to which officers responded and kept the peace.

Earlier in the day, officers made several vehicle stops with citations throughout Corona del Mar, and at 3:01 a.m. officers cited someone after receiving a report of an occupied suspicious vehicle at Ocean Boulevard and Heliotrope Avenue.

In other police news, records show that on Friday a woman reported someone throwing rocks at her car as she drove southbound on Newport Coast Drive just south of Pelican Hill Road. There was no damage to her car. And on April 22, police records show, a woman from Orange lost the contents of her wallet while visiting Crystal Cove State Park. Also on April 22, a man reported $600 in statues were stolen from his front porch in the 3600 block of Catamaran Drive.
