Corona del Mar’s most glittery shop has closed permanently, and its owner is nearly finished removing the remaining crystal-covered merchandise.
B.B. Simon opened its flagship store last April, selling crystal-studded belts, dog collars, mirrors, candlesticks and more. The shop’s signature item was a $75,000 grand piano — one of a few items still inside the shop at at 3429 East Coast Highway.
The shop is moving to a Tustin showroom, employees said.
