1. An SUV crashed into the Crystal Lotus psychic shop early Tuesday morning, causing $75,000 in damage and closing East Coast Highway for 90 minutes. The man, 41, of Newport Beach, was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence. Police say before he crashed into Crystal Lotus, he lost control and hit a sign, a brick planter and a tree — then regained control, drove a short distance and left the road again, taking out another sign, tree and bench.
