Coastal League Boys’ Hoops Tourney Begins Tonight

The Coastal Athletic League’s Boys’ Basketball Tournament begins today at Ensign Intermediate School, with the No. 5 Harbor Day seventh-grade team taking on the No. 4 Dwyer team at 6 p.m.
Corona del Mar’s seventh-grade team finished second in league play, so the team gets a buy until the game scheduled for 3 p.m. Wednesday when it will play Ensign or TeWinkle.
Corona del Mar’s eighth-grade team (No. 4) will play the No. 5-Mariners team today at 4 p.m. On Wednesday, the winner of today’s matchup will take on the Harbor Day eighth-grade team.
The winner of today’s Harbor Day seventh-grade game will play Sowers at 5 p.m. Wednesday.
On Thursday, the seventh grade teams will play the championship game at 3:15, and the eighth grade teams will play at 4:15.
Ensign is located at 2000 Cliff Drive.
