1. El Ranchito is moving to the Oysters space, according to sources and state records. No word, though, on when the switch will take place. Last fall, the owner of The Crow Bar and Kitchen was trying to take over the Oysters restaurant, but that deal fell through. El Ranchito employees refused to comment. Read our story here.
2. Meet Deb Pirdy, Corona del Mar’s newest Dolphin Lady, who took over the job this week with Valentine’s Day decorations on the topiaries at Marguerite Avenue and East Coast Highway. Read our story here.
3. Police warn residents to be careful after a Corona del Mar woman had a thief enter her unlocked home while she was upstairs, unaware. The man stole cash, then spoke to the woman on her outside deck as he left the area. Read our story here.
