CDMHS Club To Take Trip to Help Orphans

A new club at Corona del Mar High School is planning a Feb. 27 trip to spend the day at an orphanage in Mexico, organizers said.
Club Corazon De Vida formed with the sole purpose to help orphans in Mexico. The group plans to collect $40 from participants; the money will go to the children. The group then will take a bus to the orphanage to spend the day playing with the kids.
Participants will get 12 or more hours of community service, organizers said.
Sign-ups must be done online here. The group needs 15-20 more people to sign up for the trip to go forward, and chaperones are welcome. Fore more information, flyers and forms are available at the school outside room 212.
