A Corona del Mar woman told police that someone entered her home in the 1500 block of Ocean Boulevard and took $6,100 worth of property from a bathroom.
The 65-year-old made the police report Friday afternoon, but she said the burglary occurred sometime between Dec. 18 and Dec. 31.
On Saturday, a 19-year-old Corona del Mar high school student told police that someone took his wallet from the center console of his unlocked car in the 400 block of Cabrillo Terrace. The loss was $45. Another police report stated that an 84-year-old Long Beach woman left her purse in a restaurant in the 2700 block of East Coast Highway, then returned to find it stolen. The loss, reported earlier this month, was $482.
Police also arrested a 28-year-old an on suspicion of possession of a controlled substance. The arrest occurred at 11:40 p.m. Thursday at San Miguel Drive and Avocado Avenue. The man’s bail was set at $20,000.
