From the Police Log: Burglary, Illegal Fireworks, Fight

Newport Beach police took a burglary report Saturday afternoon in the 400 block of Cabrillo Terrace, according to online logs.
Police received a report of illegal fireworks in the 100 block of Mission Bay Drive at 9:57 p.m. Saturday, and they had a report of a physical fight at 10:43 p.m. Saturday in the 3200 block of East Coast Highway.
Early today, police received a report of a drunk disturbance in the 2300 block of East Coast Highway, but the suspect was gone when officers arrived at 1:52 a.m. At 2:10 a.m. today, officers responded to a party disturbance in the 700 block of Begonia Avenue. At 2:12 a.m. today, officers issued a citation after receiving a call about an occupied suspicious vehicle at Marguerite Avenue and Ocean Boulevard. At 5:01 a.m., officers kept the peace after getting a call in the 1500 block of Avocado Avenue.
At 12:03 p.m. Friday, police took a burglary report in the 1500 block of Ocean Boulevard. And state police took a grand theft report just before noon Friday at East Coast Highway and Los Trancos.
