It was closed this past Sunday when I went by around in the late afternoon I was in a 4x4 and wanted to give my daughter a "fun ride" through the water at the drainage river" .. but the gate was closed. Sorry didn't take a pic .. just turned around and headed home Next time!

Slight correction.. that was MONDAY Jan 18th MLK Day -- around 4ish!

I work in view of one of the gates and literally everyone I saw on foot or on a bike went around or under the gate. I know it can be an inconvenience, but the City doesn't close the road unless there is a realistic risk of danger on the road. Please don't ignore the "road closed" signs!
