The NBPD needs real people interaction instead of Internet social networking. NBPD in Facebook will not repair the reputation for roughness, as indicated by the injury claims of person not charged with crimes. I experienced the NBPD roughness at the annual sobriety checkpoint outside their Jamboree Road headquarters. I do not drink or buy alcohol. I drove through the checkpoint while grocery shopping after a long work week wearing business casual and driving a basic sedan-type car. The checkpoint was bloated with idle Officers. Groceries were strewn across my car by the Officers. An Officer dangled the car keys in front of my face and said that I could pick up the car a block away at a car dealer lot. The NBPD being posted in Facebook is unlikely to change field behavior. Instead of being connected on the Internet, the NBPD needs to be connected with the community.
