Two men were arrested early Sunday on suspicion of fighting in public following an incident at 3500 East Coast Highway, police reports state.

The men, one from Corona and one from West Hollywood, each had bail set at $500.

Also early Sunday, a Newport Beach man wearing a red Christmas sweater was arrested on suspicion of disorderly conduct while intoxicated, records state. The man, 24, was arrested at Marguerite Avenue and Harbor View Drive. His bail also was set at $500.

A 35-year-old West Hollywood woman reported that someone stole her phone from a table at a restaurant at 545 Newport Center Drive just before 8 p.m. Thursday. The woman said she got off work at Fashion Island and was sitting at a table at the restaurant when a man grabbed her phone. He then climbed into an Audi parked at the valet station and drove away. The man was described as about 25 years old and wearing a gray t-shirt. The car was silver with tinted windows and no plates, police reports say.

The loss was $200. The victim also was described as having minor injuries, but police officials on Monday could not confirm the injuries were caused by the suspect. Police officials do urge citizens who are victims of crimes to be careful not to put themselves in danger while gathering descriptions or trying to save their property.
