Home Invasion Robbery in Pelican Ridge — Two Suspects At Large

Newport Beach police have been searching overnight for two outstanding suspects in a home invasion robbery of a home in Pelican Ridge, a police spokeswoman said.
The incident occurred about 10:30 p.m. There were injuries but nothing life-threatening, the spokeswoman said.
Police immediately began to search the area by helicopter and on land, and one local radio station has reported that three neighboring homes were evacuated. Three suspects were arrested, but police continue to search for two black males, possibly armed.
“They likely are out of the area by now, but we’re looking,” the spokeswoman said.
