Erica Dee Owner Opening New Boutique in CdM

The founder of the popular Erica Dee clothing boutiques, which closed one by one last year, is getting ready to launch her newest shop in Corona del Mar.
Harper’s will be open later this month at 2610 East Coast Highway, according to the boutique’s Facebook page, which already has more than 250 fans. The page, which describes the shop as being modern and feminine, will feature “a unique selection of womens contemporary clothing, shoes, jewelry, accessories and specialty gifts.”
Owner Erica Thomas has not yet responded to messages seeking comment for this article.
The first Erica Dee boutique in Corona del Mar opened in 2001 and eventually expanded to include a children’s shop and a men’s store. The recession, however, hurt business. After consolidating the boutiques, Thomas ultimately closed the last shop a year ago. Read our story here.
