A man armed with a stun gun robbed the Corona del Mar Rite Aid, stealing drugs before fleeing, according to police reports.
The man got away with $1081.29 worth of drugs during the robbery at 8:45 p.m. Wednesday, just before the business closed for the evening. Rite Aid is located at 3141 East Coast Highway.
The man was wearing a dark, long-sleeve shirt, green draw-string pants, a dark beanie, sunglasses and gloves, the police report said. No one was injured during the robbery.
In other police news, a 28-year-old Arcadia woman reported that someone stole a baby stroller left unattended at Inspiration Point, at Ocean Boulevard and Orchid Avenue. The theft occurred between 9 and 9:30 a.m. Friday. The loss was $990, reports state.
Also, a 60-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of disorderly conduct while intoxicated at just before 4 p.m. Saturday in the 2900 block of East Coast Highway. His bail was set at $500. And at 11:34 p.m. Saturday, a 43-year-old Newport Beach woman was arrested on suspicion of drunk driving at East Coast Highway and Narcissus Avenue. Her bail was set at $2,500.
