Wrapadoo W semi-side shot Resort TerraceA party planned for after the Nov. 24 finale of “Dancing With The Stars “ will feature a party room with swag for the dancers and celebrities — including Wrapadoo products invented by a Corona del Mar woman.

Cynthia Saito was inspired to create the Wrapadoo hair wraps by her daughter, now a Harbor View Elementary kindergarten student. Wrapadoos are designed for girls as well as their moms and are a kind of modern-day twist on a turban with a very high glamor factor.

“Glamour,” Saito said, “is what ‘Dancing With The Stars’ is all about. The hair, the outfits, the celebrities. It’s a perfect fit.”

The finale of the celebrity dance-off will air Nov. 24. Saito said she will deliver the Wrapadoos this week.

Wrapadoo has been selling products internationally through its website for about a month. Saito said she has been working on marketing and product placement and was investigating how to get Wrapadoos into celebrity goody bags. Then out of the blue, someone with whom she’d been having online conversations told her he already had ABC approve Wrapadoos for the show’s after-party.

“This is one of those moments I’ve worked really hard for,” she said. “I’ve plotted and planned, and I’m very proud that I persevered.”
