Four Car Burglaries Reported in 90 Minutes Within Two Blocks

Newport Beach Police received four vehicle burglary reports this morning, all within a two-block area near Big Corona State Beach.
The first report was taken at 6:31 a.m. today in the 300 block of Poppy Avenue; officers took another report at the same location at 7:45 a.m. Officers then took a report in the 200 block of Poppy Avenue at 7:51 a.m., and a fourth report at 7:57 a.m. at Ocean Boulevard and Poinsettia Avenue.
No further information was immediately available.
