I would like to say thank you for your coverage of Corona del Mar. I read your publication daily. it is a great way to keep up with the latest news in CdM. Your articles are very informative. We have lived in Corona del Mar for 24 years. Our son is a sophomore at Sage Hill High School. While I appreciate your coverage of the theft at Sage Hill because I have a child at the school, I'm not sure why it is in your publication. If the mission of CdM today "is to provide solid news coverage of the village of Corona del Mar" your article about a theft at Sage Hill High School in NEWPORT COAST should not be included. Sage Hill has many positive educational experiences happening daily. Perhaps an article about the recently opened Studio which will host many community arts programs would have been more news worthy.

Thanks for the kind words. And yes, on occasion, we do cover events that occur outside Corona del Mar boundaries. Fashion Island, for example, is not technically CdM -- but many CdM residents shop there, and we regularly cover stories there. Sage Hill is a school with many CdM students -- we felt they and their families might be interested in the theft from purses left in the locker room. Please email us with tips about events there that merit news stories -- we'd love to cover Sage events!
