Harbor View Dam Project Begins

County crews have begun a three-week project on the Harbor View Dam, which is located on Jasmine Creek neighborhood property near Harbor View Drive in Corona del Mar.
According to Orange County Public Works Operations and Maintenance Division officials, crews are removing about 750 cubic yards of silt and sediment around the outlet intake of Harbor View Dam. The construction cost will be $30,000. The project is in response to an inspection report by the Division of Safety of Dams, which is a state agency.
