Harbor View Cub Scouts Win Sandcastle Contest

Harbor View’s Cub Scout Pack 330 won the Junior Division 12 & Under of the 48th Annual Sandcastle Contest held Sunday at Big Corona State Beach. The boys and their families created an octopus with seaweed.
“I am so proud of all the effort that the Scouts and parents showed at the Sand Castle Contest,” said Chris Gullo, cubmaster for the pack. “All of you that were able to make the contest worked very hard and diligently… We did a fantastic job.” The scouts in the pack are mostly from Harbor View Elementary, with other boys attending El Morro, Carden Hall and Newport Elementary schools.
The pack won a pass for two for the Catalina Flyer, which they plan to raffle at their next meeting.
