In case you missed them, here are Corona del Mar Today’s top stories for the week of Sept. 27 to Oct. 3.

1. An earthquake Tuesday in America Somoa resulted in a tsunami warning for coastal Orange County, and as experts expected, the actual wave surge posed no danger at a mere six inches. Read the warning story here.

2. Corona del Mar seniors living at Belmont Village have twice in three months had valuable diamond rings stolen and mysteriously returned. Police and facility management say the case mystifies them. Read the story here.

3. The owner of The Crow Bar & Kitchen is buying nearby Oysters — but the name should stay the same, and in fact, the chef running both kitchens had worked 11 years at Oysters. Read the story here.
