Businesses along East Coast Highway have been receiving official notices about a a streetlight improvement project that is scheduled to begin later this month. The project, budget for about $100,000, is being funded by the Corona del Mar Business Improvement District. The construction should affect only street parking and not traffic lanes, but there could be congestion through the village during work, which is scheduled to be complete Nov. 16. The work will involve 35 city-owned street lights, adding decorative arms and light fixtures and replacing seven poles.
