The Mystery of Earl, Revealed — Sort Of

Last summer, this poster appeared in front of The Port Theater, claiming that All the Girls Love Earl and showing a smiling man who appears to be a race car driver in front of a checkered flag. And while the Port’s poster is gone, when construction work stopped and then started with fresh plywood boards, there are others throughout the county, catching the eye of an Orange County Register reporter who has been trying for months to find the person behind them. Apparently, it is “an anonymous local resident” who calls it street art, as well as a “visual antidote for the economic blues.” Read the entire article here.
