Ongoing roadwork along East Coast Highway between MacArthur Boulevard and Avocado Avenue will continue for about five more days, a city official said.
“The work is Southern California Edison,” Director of Public Works David Webb said in an email. “They are changing out an underground vault and re-cabling.”
The work has closed a lane of East Coast Highway for more than a week.
An email seeking information about the project from a SoCal Edison spokeswoman was not immediately answered.
