More than 60 people applied to fill the position of principal of Corona del Mar High School, district officials said, and interviews will begin today.
“The process is currently underway, and it is the superintendent’s anticipation to take a recommendation to the Board on Aug. 25, 2009, pending the outcome of the interviews,” said district spokeswoman Laura Boss in an email.
The former principal, Fal Asrani, announced on July 31 that she was resigning to take a position as assistant superintendent of instruction with the Los Angeles Unified School District. Read our story about her resignation here.
