Swells: This week, CdM saw some small, mushy swells. On Monday morning, a weak SSW-S swell came in producing 2-4ft throughout the day. On Tuesday, the SSW-S swell contined but faded a little bit producing 2-3ft waves. The swell died throughout the rest of the week. The waves on Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, and Saturday were mostly 1-2ft. Although there were some waves in the beginning of the week, Southernly morning winds made the waves mushy.
Water Temperature and Weather: The water temperature throughout the week was 63-64 degrees Fahrenheit. In addition to the water warming up, the weather is also warming up. On Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, the temperature was about 75-80 degrees Fahrenheit; perfect weather to go down the beach! The weather in this coming week is expected to be and the water temperature should be about 64 degrees.
Forecast: A nice sized SW groundswell is going to come in today. This swell is going to peak on Monday producing 4-6ft waves. The conditions should be fairly clean. As the swell fades on Tuesday and Wednesday, the waves will be about 3-5ft+ with clean conditions. The winds are expected to pick up on Thursday making the waves blown out.
