From the Police Log: Burglaries Hit Flower Streets

Newport Beach police took reports of three vehicle burglaries in the Flower Streets on Saturday morning, online logs state.

One incident was reported at 8:37 a.m. in the 300 block of Poppy Avenue. Another was reported at 9:28 a.m. in the 400 block of Iris Avenue, and another was reported at 11:18 a.m. in the 400 block of Goldenrod Avenue. No details were immediately available.

Police also took a report of a burglary at 9:41 a.m. today in the 3700 block of Park Green Drive, online logs state.

In other police news, officers took a report of an animal bite at 8:56 a.m. today in the 500 block of Dahlia Avenue. Officers also kept the peace after a battery was reported at 1:52 p.m. Saturday in the 7700 block of East Coast Highway. Officers made an arrest after a report of a disturbance at 1:43 p.m. Saturday at Crystal Heights Drive and East Coast Highway, online logs state. And officers also took a report after a vehicle theft at 1:30 p.m. Friday at Dahlia and Fifth avenues.
