The library will host a free workshop at 6 p.m. Wednesday that will explain how to take advantage of the library’s “huge selection” of e-books, according to a library email.
The informal session does not require advance reservations and will run until 8 p.m. in the Central Library’s Friends Room.
Participants should bring their electronic reading devices and passwords, or they may try out the library’s sample collection of iPads, Kindles and Nooks, the email said.
“A brief talk will be given on Axis360 and Overdrive, the online resources containing over 4,000 book and audiobook titles available for free download,” the email said. “Staff will answer as many questions as possible about e-readers and e-books!”
