A residential burglary occurred about 12:46 a.m. today in the 400 block of Narcissus Avenue, according to online police logs. Crime scene investigators were at the scene about 9:14 a.m. today.
“The resident came home, discovered his front door open, and some of his property moved to his front porch,” said Kathy Lowe, a police spokeswoman, in an email. “Officers responded and were unable to locate a possible suspect.”
The loss was unknown this afternoon, she said.
In other police news, officers arrested a 24-year-old Newport Beach man at East Coast Highway and Goldenrod Avenue at 12:07 a.m. today on suspicion of narcotics possession. His bail was $20,000, according to a police report.
