The ACLU lawsuit is not over RENT the musical--that was only one small part of the suit. The lawsuit is because the school, and specifically Fal Asrani, Duncan McCulloch and the school District supervisors (including school board officials!) refused to properly discipline three senior male students when they made and publicly posted a Facebook video where they discussed shooting a fellow student in the head and raping her in the back of a truck! This is not a lawsuit about a musical--it is about protecting young women in our community! Please get the story correct!
