Small Business Saturday, which was launched two years ago by American Express as a way to help small businesses attract shoppers during one of the biggest shopping weekends of the year, will take place this weekend.

“Last year, over 100 million people came out to shop at independently-owned small businesses on the day,” according to the event’s website.

Toy Boat Toy Boat Toy Boat’s owner, Lori Curtin, said she recorded a KFI radio ad about the event.
