Some of the best food we have eaten. The Brie breakfast sandwich is great.
Rendez Vous French Bakery to Take Over Petit Bateau Spot

A French bakery and cafe will be opening in the former Petit Bateau restaurant space, according to a sign in the window at 3330 East Coast Highway.
Le Petit Bateau closed in September after six months after the owner decided to sell to a couple from Provence France; read our earlier story here. Le Petit Bateau replaced the Pizza Royale restaurant that closed on Dec. 31, 2011 after 24 years in business.
The sign in the window does not give an opening date but features photos of tarts, cakes and baguettes.
