Sherman Library & Gardens Hosting Green Lecture Tonight

Forget the green thumb — Sherman Library & Gardens will hold a lecture called “A Green Promise” at 7 p.m. tonight that will take a look at solutions to global hunger using “green solar.”
Mark Edwards, the guest speaker, is an expert on sustainable food, water and energy. He will discuss solutions to global hunger that use green solar, or solar energy captured in green plant biomass by algae. Sherman Library & Gardens is located at 2647 East Coast Highway.
