Newport Beach police took a report of a petty theft in the 2500 block of Bungalow Place at 10:50 a.m. Thursday, according to a report. The loss was $45, and the theft occurred between 1 p.m. Sept. 4 and 10 a.m. Sept. 5, the report said.
Police also took a report of a theft with $50 lost and recovered at 2 p.m. Wednesday on Skysail Drive, a report said. That incident occurred between 4:30 p.m. Tuesday and 9 a.m. Wednesday. Police took a report of a petty theft from a vehicle at 101 Newport Center Drive at 5:40 p.m. Wednesday. The theft occurred between 4:45 p.m. and 5 p.m. Wednesday with a loss of $620.
Police arrested an 18-year-old Newport Beach man at 12:30 p.m. Thursday in the 400 block of Morning Canyon Road on suspicion of vandalism with damage less than $400; bail was $500, according to a report.
