1. The Newport Beach Central Library will host a free family concert from 11 a.m. to noon Saturday, featuring harpist Charissa Barger. The concert, called Harp For Little Hearts, is an interactive musical program that will introduce kids to harp techniques and classical music, and children will be able ask questions and get a close look at the instrument. The concert will take place in the library Friends Room at 1000 Avocado Ave.; seating will be first-come, first-served, and children must be with an adult. 2. Take a free, guided nature hike at Crystal Cove State Park starting at 9 a.m. Saturday; meet at the amphitheater near the Moro day-use area. There is a $15 day-use parking fee in state lots.

3. Roger’s Gardens will host a fall “table-scape” lecture from 9 to 10 a.m. Saturday featuring Roger’s Gardens’ floral artist and designer Cynthia McElwee-Willock and Floral Studio sales manager Opal Sullivan. The women will offer seasonal decorating tips and ideas for fresh flower arrangements. Also from 2 to 3 p.m. Saturday, Roger’s will host “Cooking with Chef Nena Niessen: Cooking for Cancer Prevention and Recovery.” Niessen will discuss plant-based diets and how they can boost cancer patients’ immune systems. Food trucks will return this weekend, with Handarollamasta scheduled for Saturday and SeaBirds scheduled for Sunday.

5. Corona del Mar merchants have teamed together to present the inaugural CdM Bridal Walk, which will take place Sunday throughout the village. Dozens of brides are expected to begin the walk at the Port Restaurant, then follow a map to check out local shops that cater to brides-to-be, with special offers and discounts. The event will end at Five Crowns Restaurant, where there will be a raffle. If you want to attend, click here for more information.
