Government Affairs Meeting to Study Marina Rental Rates

The Corona del Mar Chamber of Commerce will host a Government Affairs meeting from 7:30 to 9 a.m. Thursday at the Bahia Corinthian Yacht Club and will feature a discussion of proposed commercial marina rates.
Rob Houston, assistant Newport Beach city manager, will attend the event, which will include a review of 11 state initiatives on the November ballot.
The meeting also will include legislative reports from representatives for U.S. Congressman John Campbell, Assemblyman Don Wagner, Sen. Tom Harmon and others.
