Very sad, thoughts to his family and friends. Please take a moment and check each of your smoke detectors it will only take a second and could save your life.

Sad turn of events. Obviously, thoughts go out to the family and friends of this man. Despite the cause or reason for this tragedy, I agree with Heliotrope this is a good time to check out your own surroundings. Make sure your smoke/CO2 detectors are operable and that your water heaters are seismically strapped.

He was a wonderful person; he had a great sense of humor. He was brother, neighbor, friend, lover, uncle and son. Loved by many. Carry on my wayward son.
