No parents, no cell phones — just kids telling stories around a campfire when the Environmental Nature Center hosts a fall sleepover event for kids on Saturday Sept. 22.
ENC naturalist Sarah Fitzgerald will lead a night hike, including viewing the moon through a telescope, and there will be a pizza dinner along with roasted marshmallows and s’mores, according to an ENC flier. Breakfast will be served before the event ends at 8 a.m. Sunday.
The event costs $45 per child, and advance reservations and payment are required. Children must be at least 6 years old to participate. Call (949) 645-8489 to reserve a spot.
The ENC is located at 1601 16th Street.
