CdMHS PTA Holds First Meeting of New School Year

The Corona del Mar High School and Middle School PTA held the first general meeting of the school year Wednesday morning.
PTA Home Tour organizers described this year’s event, which will take place Oct. 23 and feature self-guided tours of six homes. CdM gear again will be sold along with other gift items at the luncheon, and Eric Cortina of Roger’s Gardens designed a new Sea King-themed Christmas ornament, said Michele Caston, co-chairwoman. Last year, the ornaments sold out in three weeks and raised $7,000.
School officials said the new pool parking lot reconfiguration had caused some confusion on the first day of school, but already by today traffic was improving.
