From the Police Log: Vandalism, Grand Theft From Vehicle

Newport Beach police took a report of vandalism at 6:50 a.m. Wednesday at 3840 East Coast Highway, according to a report. The incident occurred between 6 a.m. Aug. 18 and 6:50 a.m. Wednesday and caused $100 damage.
Police also took a report of a grand theft from a vehicle in the 2000 block of Tahuna Terrace at 2:39 p.m. Wednesday, a report said. The theft occurred between 3 p.m. Sunday and 8 a.m. Monday with a loss of $1,175.
