A residential burglary occurred in the 900 block of Sandcastle Drive on Monday, according to a police report.
The incident occurred between noon and 4 p.m. and was reported at 8:32 p.m., the report said. The loss was $5,550 and included two purses, a gym bag and three iPods, a police spokesman said in an email. Police did not know how the suspect entered the home.
Police also were called to a report of an incident of battery in the 800 block of Avocado Avenue at 2:33 p.m. Monday, according to online logs. No arrest was made, according to the online report.
