Newport Beach police took a report of vandalism at 10:27 p.m. Wednesday at Goldenrod Avenue and Bayside Drive. The incident occurred between 10:25 and 10:27 p.m. and resulted in $500 damage, according to a report.
Police also arrested a 32-year-old Anaheim man at Poppy Avenue and Ocean Boulevard at 12:50 a.m. Wednesday on suspicion of being on the beach after hours; his bail was $50. Officers arrested a 28-year-old Irvine man at 11:50 a.m. Wednesday at Newport Coast Drive and San Joaquin Hills Road on suspicion of disorderly conduct while intoxicated. His bail was $500, according to a report.
