From the Police Log: Man Arrested at Same Spot Twice in 24 Hours

A 54-year-old Costa Mesa man was arrested twice in two days at the same location in Corona del Mar, according to police reports.

The man was arrested on suspicion of disorderly conduct while intoxicated at 12:50 p.m. Saturday and again on the same charge at 9:17 a.m. Sunday. Both arrests were made at Goldenrod Avenue and East Coast Highway, reports said. In both cases, bail was set at $500.

In other police news, officers arrested a 43-year-old Mission Viejo man at 1:20 a.m. Saturday on suspicion of DUI at Pelican Hills Road and Newport Coast Drive. The man’s bail was $10,000. Police also took a report of a grand theft from a vehicle in the 700 block of Poinsettia Avenue. The loss occurred between Nov. 12 and Nov. 12 2011 but was reported at noon Sunday. The loss was $2,200, according to a report.

Officers also arrested a 24-year-old Huntington Beach woman at 8:53 p.m. Friday at Ocean Boulevard and Jasmine Avenue on suspicion of disorderly conduct while intoxicated; her bail was $500.
