From the Police Log: Grand Theft, Arrests in Burglary and Trespass Cases

Newport Beach police took a report of a grand theft at Z Pizza at 7956 East Coast Highway at 10 a.m. Monday, according to a report.
The theft occurred between 7:30 and 7:40 p.m. Sunday with a loss of $1,342, the report said.
Police arrested an 18-year-old San Clemente woman at 8:26 p.m. Monday at 857 Newport Center Drive on suspicion of commercial burglary, according to an arrest report. Her bail was $20,000. Police arrested a 49-year-old Newport Beach man at 11:08 p.m. Monday in the 300 block of Hazel Drive on suspicion of trespassing; bail was $500. Officers also arrested a 28-year-old Lake Forest man at 11:40 p.m. Friday at East Coast Highway and Orchid Avenue on suspicion of possession of an open container; bail was $50.
A grandt theft with a loss of $12,000 was reported at 22701 Pelican Hill Road at 5:20 p.m. July 3, a report states. The theft occurred between 3:30 and 8:30 p.m. June 29. Police took a report of a petty theft with a loss of $1 in the 4500 block of Wanye Road on July 6.
