From the Police Log: Vandalism Reports, Petty Theft Arrest

Newport Beach police took a report of vandalism at Newport Center Drive and East Coast Highway at 9:22 a.m. Tuesday, according to a report. The incident occurred between 6:53 and 9:22 a.m. Tuesday and resulted in damage of $831, the report said. Officers also took a report of vandalism at 9:33 a.m. today in the 2800 block of Pacific View Drive, but details about that case were not immediately available.

Police arrested a Laguna Niguel woman at 3:08 p.m. Tuesday on suspicion of petty theft at 101 Newport Center Drive; bail was $500.
