From the Police Log: Vandalism, Theft Reports; Arrests

Newport Beach police took a report of vandalism at 11 p.m. Saturday at 300 Newport Center Drive, according to a report. The incident occurred between 3 a.m. and 10:30 p.m. Saturday and caused $500 damage.

Officers also took a report of a grand theft with a $12,860 loss at 881 Newport Center Drive at 4:32 p.m. Friday. The theft occurred between 2 and 2:15 p.m. Friday, a report states.

Police arrested a 30-year-old Encinitas man at 1:40 a.m. Saturday at Orchid Avenue and East Coast Highway on suspicion of disorderly conduct while intoxicated; bail was $500. They arrested a 28-year-old Venice man at 2:07 a.m. Saturday at Morning Canyon Road and East Coast Highway on suspicion of disorderly conduct while intoxicated; bail was $500.

Officers arrested a 50-year-old Newport Coast man at 3:51 p.m. Sunday at Los Trancos and East Coast Highway on suspicion of possession of false vehicle registration; bail was $20,000. Police arrested a 30-year-old San Diego man at 3:32 p.m. Sunday at 701 Newport Center Drive on suspicion of burglary; bail was $20,000. A 53-year-old Ladera Ranch woman was arrested on suspicion of grand theft at 5:50 p.m. Sunday at 901 Newport Center Drive; bail was $20,000, according to a report.

Two Long Beach residents were arrested at 4:45 p.m. Saturday at 701 Newport Center Drive on suspicion of burglary, reports state. A woman, 45, and a woman, 40, were arrested with $20,000 bail each. Police also arrested a 49-year-old Newport Beach man at 11 p.m. Friday at Ocean Boulevard and Larkspur Avenue on suspicion of DUI; bail was $2,500.
